About Ivonne Ernest, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC
Serving Locations: Narcoossee Rd., Orlando, FLIvonne Ernest, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She brings 20 years of nursing experience to The Women’s Center, which has locations in Orlando, St. Cloud, Altamonte Springs, Oviedo, Ocoee, Winter Park and Celebration.
Ivonne earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Bethune-Cookman University. She then spent 17 years of her nursing career working on a high acuity Labor and Delivery unit at Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women and Babies in Orlando. Her time was spent assisting and empowering women during the antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods. Her passion for women’s health grew, which led her to pursue her Master of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University with advanced training as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Ivonne is driven by her passion for women’s health and strives to provide compassionate and holistic care to every patient. She believes in educating her patients so that they may be proactive in their health and healthcare decisions.
Ivonne was raised in South Florida with her family roots in Arecibo, Puerto Rico. She is bilingual, speaking both English and Spanish. In her free time, she enjoys cooking with her husband and spending time with her two sons. She loves the beach, boating, fishing, and going to the movies.
