About Dr. Lillian Vargas
OB-GYN LOCATED IN LAKE NONA & ST.CLOUDSDr. Vargas is a board certified obstetrician and gynecologist. She was born and raised in Puerto Rico where she trained in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the San Juan City Hospital Residency Program. She initially pursued a career in the pharmaceutical industry as quality assurance specialist before pursuing medical school. Having found her passion in women's health, she has worked in diverse areas of womens care including weight loss, aesthetics, high risk obstetrics and gynecology. She now focuses on Gynecologic care and believes in educating women on the stages of their life including early adolescence perimenopause and menopause.
Dr. Vargas is an advocate for prevention and early detection of gynecologic malignancy as well as practicing evidence based medicine. She specializes in abnormal bleeding patterns, hormone therapy, PCOS, contraception, pelvic pain and enjoys every aspect of taking care of women. She enjoys surgery and office procedures, particularly minimally invasive procedures such as hysteroscopy, endometrial ablation and laparoscopic surgery.
Dr. Vargas favorite thing to do is to spend quality time with her family, workout and go to the beach.
Dr. Vargas is a fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a member of the American Medical Association.
