About Kaitlyn Zipoli Agudelo, CNM, ARNP
Serving Locations: Lucerne Terrace, Orlando, FLKaitlyn Zipoli Agudelo is an experienced Nurse Practitioner and Certified Nurse Midwife at The Women's Center, which has locations in Orlando, St. Cloud, Altamonte Springs, Oviedo, Ocoee, Winter Park and Celebration, Florida.
She is dedicated to empowering her patients to actively participate in their journey through womanhood, from adolescence, pregnancy, and menopause. She developed a passion for Women's Health early in her career and life experiences. Through discussion, education, and utilization of the body's natural physiology, she strives to promote a safe and healthy lifestyle for women in both body and mind. She believes that women know their own body better than anyone and understands the importance of listening to every concern for every patient.
Kaitlyn is a strong advocate for teens and young women looking for an introduction into their reproductive health, safe sex education and birth control. During pregnancy, she works with women to discuss their expectations and promote a safe and positive birth experience. She teaches childbirth classes monthly, and she is currently doing deliveries at Winnie Palmer Hospital.
Additionally, Kaitlyn takes a special interest in Sexual Medicine for women across the lifespan, regardless of age or sexual orientation. As a woman, she understands the sensitive nature of discussing sexual concerns, and wants her patients to feel comfortable, respected, and empowered to ask difficult questions and get real answers. She believes in providing transparency of information in all treatment options and respecting a woman's right for an enriched quality of life.
Kaitlyn is a native of Florida, and attended the University of Florida for her Bachelor and Master of Science degree in nursing, with a certificate in Midwifery, working in top OB hospitals including Shands UF, Shands Jacksonville, and working abroad in Argentina. She is a member of the American College of Nurse-Midwives (ACNM), society for Nurse Practitioners in Women's Health, and the International Society for the Study of Women's Sexual Health (ISSWSH). She performs normal gynecologic annual exams, pap smears, birth control consultations including Nexplanon and IUD insertions, STD testing, pregnancy, menopause and sexual health visits.
When she is not delivering babies, Kaitlyn enjoys reading, water sports, and playing the ukulele.
