About Dr. Leigh C. White

White is a board-certified OB-GYN known for her energetic, compassionate, and highly personalized approach to patient care. She serves women across Central Florida through The Women’s Center, helping patients feel heard, educated, and empowered in their healthcare journey. Her mission in medicine stems from a deep passion for combining science with women’s health advocacy, allowing her to provide thoughtful, patient-centered care at every stage of life.
Dr. Leigh C. White earned her PhD in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill before obtaining her Doctor of Medicine (MD) in 2001 from Wake Forest University School of Medicine. She then completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Women & Children in Orlando.
Dr. White is board certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology and brings over 25 years of experience to the Women’s Center of Orlando. She is an active member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, The Menopause Association, and the International Society for the Study of Vulvovaginal Disease.
Dr. White is recognized for her enthusiastic and personal approach, focusing on building meaningful relationships with her patients. She emphasizes education-first care, preventative health strategies, and long-term wellness planning, with the goal of ensuring every patient feels comfortable, informed, and confident in their care decisions.
Dr. White specializes in the following areas: chronic vaginal infections, birth control and reproductive health, perimenopause and menopausal hormone replacement, preventative and wellness care and adolescent gynecology.
Outside of her medical practice, Dr. White loves to spend quality time with her husband of thirty three years, her son, and her dogs, Grover and Willow. This harmonious blend of professional excellence and personal connection shines through in the warm, relatable care she offers to each patient.
White provides care to patients at several Women’s Center locations. The locations where she practices at include Orlando, specifically at Lucerne Terrace, and Altamonte Springs, where she practices on Main Street and Commerce Park.
Dr. White has affiliations with Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies and AdventHealth Winter Park. Both hospital systems offer a wide range of medical services and are recognized for their quality healthcare.
